Whitley Strieber, Travis Walton and Betty Hill claim they were abducted by aliens. How about you? We’re genuinely interested to hear your story…
Alien Abduction: The Experience
So many people today believe they have been abducted by aliens, or have had contact with aliens, or have witnessed a UFO, or have worked on secret military-industrial projects where UFOs and alien technologies are being back-engineered for military use, that the categorical denial of at least some level of human-alien association has become something of a minority view.
Certainly this is the case with regard to alien abduction, which effectively began in 1961, when Betty and Barney Hill from New Hampshire claimed they’d been taken aboard a UFO and medically examined by aliens.
Their story was eventually published in a best-selling book, The Interrupted Journey, in 1966, which told the story of how Boston psychiatrist Dr. Benjamin Simon hypnotically regressed the Hills to help them recall their experience.
Notably, this was the first time hypnotic regression had been used in alien abduction cases, but it was certainly not the last.
The abduction of best-selling author Whitley Strieber, for example, is told in the blockbuster movie Communion, while Hollywood’s Fire In The Sky tells the story of Travis Walton and his alleged sojourn aboard an alien craft.
To add to this, I recall a case I investigated when I was editing UFO Reality magazine back in the 90s, in which 6 British soldiers feared they’d been abducted — or at least that they’d encountered an alien craft and its crew — while on night manoeuvres on Salisbury Plain.
In the case of one of those soldiers in particular, hypnotic regression proved invaluable in unlocking his memories of what was for him at least a truly terrifying ordeal.
In the event it turned out that the soldiers had almost certainly been used as guinea pigs in a top-secret military experiment rather than abducted by aliens. But that doesn’t mean the alien abduction phenomenon is without substance.
Today, in fact, around one in seven people in America believe they have been abducted by aliens, a good many in Britain, too.
If you’re one of them, or if you know someone who is, we would genuinely love to hear from you—about the experience itself, about how it affected your life, about your feelings towards the visitors and towards those who might ridicule your story.
We want to hear from everyone with an alien abduction encounter to share, so please feel free to upload your stories HERE...
