Often wrongly mistaken for ball lightning, and sometimes even UFOs, Ghost Lights have been reported for centuries, and are associated with apparitions of the dead.

Ghost Lights And The Plains Indians

Occurring in homes, above rooftops, and sometimes at the place where a death is about to happen, ‘ghost lights’ is a phenomenon that exists worldwide.

The Plains Indians of Wyoming and Dakota, for example, are said to observe ghost lights in the form of a ‘flame’ above the tipi of someone who is about to die, and many reports from Britain and America tell of people having witnessed ‘ghost lights’ within a few days of a friend’s or a relative’s death.

So beware, if you manage to capture these eerie ghost lights on film make sure you pay the devil his due.
