MERMAIDS

Half-fish, half-woman, Mermaids have populated the myths of British and European folklore for centuries, much like the Sirens of Greek mythology, and are even mentioned in early tales from ancient Assyria and Babylon.

Mermaids are said to posture and sing seductively to passing sailors in order to lure them into their underwater parlours, where the Mermaids then have their evil way before letting the sailors drown for lack of oxygen (if this sounds at all familiar then you’re definitely frequenting the wrong watering holes!).

Though reputedly beautiful to behold, Mermaids were understood in maritime folklore to be portents of misfortune, shipwreck, or even death.

But they were also bootiliciously sexy. So feel free to upload your videos of any Mermaids you may encounter.

But keep them PG certified…!
