The Dogon: The Tribe From Sirius

Another example of alien visitation having occurred in earth’s distant past can be found in the myths of the Dogon tribe of Mali, West Africa.

Having spent 25 years living with the Dogon from 1931-1956, two French anthropologists claimed they were told the tribe’s most sacred secrets by four Dogon priests.

The priests revealed that, though historically from Ancient Egypt, the Dogon had originally come from Sirius B, which they said was a companion star of Sirius invisible to the naked eye.

They said it was smaller but heavier than Sirius, and that it moved around the larger star in a 50-year elliptical orbit.

They also revealed their knowledge about the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn, astonishing their two French guests.

It wasn’t until the 20th century, of course, that Western astronomers finally proved the existence of Sirius B, which they found to be a white dwarf, smaller and heavier than Sirius as the Dogon had stated, and whose elliptical orbit caused the larger star to ‘wobble’.

The Dogon say their astronomical knowledge was given to them by the Nommos, a race of amphibious aliens from Sirius, who came to earth in the distant past for the benefit of mankind.
