Bin Laden tape further evidence of ‘war on terror’ propaganda spin as UK raises terror level to ‘severe’...

Osama Bin Laden: Dead Man Talking

Terror Level ‘Severe’

Reports Osama Bin Laden has released a new audio message claiming Al Qaeda was responsible for the Christmas Day ‘explosive underpants’ bombing on a flight to Detroit couldn’t have come at a more expedient moment for the ‘war on terror’ propagandist rally—less than 24 hours after Home Secretary Alan Johnson raised the terror level to ‘severe’.

As though in line with some pre-planned propaganda push, Johnson’s decision to raise the terror level came despite his admission there was “no intelligence to suggest an imminent attack”.

The decision was taken, he said, in consultation with MI5’s Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAC) “based on a broad range of factors”.

alan-johnson “We still face a real and serious threat to the UK from international terrorism,” the Home Secretary wanted Britain to understand.

“I would urge the public to remain vigilant and carry on reporting suspicious events to the appropriate authorities.”

One wonders if by “suspicious events” Johnson includes the emergence of Bin Laden’s latest – and highly dubious – audio release?

Claims the Bin Laden tape is ‘genuine’ are based solely on the fact that the voice speaks in Arabic, affirms responsibility for 911 and warns that terrorist attacks will continue for as long as America continues to fund Israel.

No change there.

The voice, which analysts claim “resembled” previous recordings attributed to the terror lord, but could not be confirmed as being his, also warns President Obama that America will remain prime target so long as Palestinians remain out in the cold.

No Longer Alive

It has been suggested that one reason the mystery voice might not belong to Osama Bin Laden is because, as many now believe, Osama Bin Laden is no longer alive.

Indeed, the last confirmed intercept of any communication involving the bearded bandit was in 2001, and a growing number of political commentators, respected academics and even some of the world’s leading terror experts believe the man falsely accused of masterminding 911 is today little more than a dead man talking.

First of the mainstream publications out of the traps in this regard was American Spectator magazine, which last year published the concerns of former U.S. foreign intelligence officer and senior editor Angelo M. Codevilla, a professor of international relations at Boston University.

“The video and audio tapes alleged to be Osama’s never convince the impartial observer,” he wrote.

And then, even more emphatically: “All the evidence suggests Elvis Presley is more alive today than Osama Bin Laden.”

For the record this was an opinion shared by Professor Bruce Lawrence, head of religious studies’ at Duke University, North Carolina.

Professor Lawrence, an expert on Osama Bin Laden, also expressed his belief that the former Saudi billionaire died years ago.

Further Evidence Bin Laden Is Dead

Still further evidence that Bin Laden is dead is presented in the book Osama Bin Laden: Dead Or Alive, written by political analyst and philosopher Professor David Ray Griffin, formerly Professor Emeritus at California’s Claremont School of Theology.

In the book, published last year, Professor Griffin not only claims Bin Laden died in December 2001 following a chronic kidney problem.

He also suggests the CIA is guilty of making the tapes to perpetuate the myth that Bin Laden is still alive in an attempt to ramp up support for the ‘war on terror’.

And there is yet further, even more high-profile testimony to this end.

benazir-frost-interview-bin-laden-is-dead In an interview with David Frost shortly before her own assassination, former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto, plainly stated that the world’s most notorious terrorist leader had been assassinated by British intelligence.

MI6 double-agent Sheikh Omar Saeed, she said, famously arrested in February 2002 for the kidnap and murder of Wall Street Journal reporter, Daniel Pearl, was the man responsible for carrying out the deed—which, if true, means Bin Laden has been dead for at least eight years, as most commentators agree.

Osama Bin Laden, international terrorist or dead man talking?

You decide.

For my money, whatever the real reasons behind Alan Johnson’s decision to crank up the terror level to ‘severe’, this latest ‘Bin Laden’ tape is yet further confirmation that the ‘war on terror’ is little more than a gross fiction supported, not by evidence, but by disinformation and propaganda.
